Whaaaat?!

You know how when you're watching TV and you tune out during commercials then something in an ad catches your attention? Well this happened to me and thank the Lord I have DV-R because I couldn't believe what I just heard. 

There was an ad for a sleeping pill and they were listing the side affects. These are the side affects, and I'm not even kidding:

- Don't drive or operate machinery 

- Next day drowsiness, dizziness and headache

- Abnormal behavior such as being more outgoing or aggressive, confusion, agitation and hallucinations may occur

- Sleep walking and eating or driving while not fully awake with MEMORY LOSS OF THE EVENT  

- Allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, SWELLING OF THE TONGUE AND THROAT and in some cases is FATAL

- In patients of depression worsening of depression INCLUDING SUICIDE may occur 

Wow, fun times. I wonder where I can get me some of that? 

Silhouettes and Miss White

So I'm moving out of my apartment at the end of the month and it has been a hella crazy week cleaning and downsizing, seeing as how I will be subletting here in the city then eventually moving completely across the country in a few months. That's when I stumbled across this silhouette draft of a gift a gave my dad a few months back. It reminded me to encourage everyone to check out the fabulous and talented Lori White's blog wherein she features her fantastic silhouettes that she is starting to create and sell. I will also be working on her logo in the near future. hmmm...maybe the two of us need to start planning that before the summer's out...

So Cadillac Records arrived from my Netflix list and I forgot that it was on my queue to begin with but I went ahead and watched it anyway. However, about 15 minutes into the movie I started doing other things in my room while watching it and before long I completely wasn't paying attention to the film at all. It wasn't that the movie was necessarily bad but I just couldn't be bothered to give it my attention or care at all. This rarely happens to me. Generally I'll watch just about anything all the way through unless it's genuinely awful, but I can't remembered the last time I was filled with such a bad case of the mehs. That's just sad.
